Texas State University Campus Basemap Geodatabase Development Project: Phase 1
OMGS was tasked with creating a foundational geodatabase for Texas State University. This project represents Phase 1 of a years long project to migrate control of geospatial data from a third party to the university, saving tens of thousands of dollars a year. This geodatabase was constructed with a rigorously standardized data schema, relevant attribute fields, and domains for newly created spatial data. The cleaned, standardized, and topologically connected geodatabase produced represents a substantial asset for the university, providing them with a substantial platform upon which future spatial analysis can be done.
