Scott Christensen:
I am a senior at Texas State University expected to graduate in May 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems and a minor in Business Management. My primary interest, though I enjoy all aspects of GIS, deals with analyzing urban issues and creating effective solutions for them. After graduation I plan to cultivate a career in GIS pertaining to urban issues. Also, I plan on pursuing a Master of Applied Geography in Geographic Information Systems at Texas State University.
Brad Dilllshaw:
My name is Bradly Dillashaw. I have attended Texas State since 2008. My major is general Geography with Teacher Certification. I like GIS because, as a visual learner, GIS and maps allow me to visually see relationships in the world. As for the future, I would like to use GIS for education administration and school district planning. After teaching for a while I would love to implement an Intro to GIS course at the high school level for college credit. I would love to combine my two passions GIS and teaching.
Jacqueline Carrillo:
I am a current senior at Texas State University-San Marcos expected to graduate fall 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Geographic Informative Science with a minor in Geology. Then, plan to apply my B.S. degree in the oil and gas field. Followed by, my enterprise towards my masters in Natural Resources or Environmental Science. Since January 2011, I have utilized my GIS knowledge by becoming the president of the Society of Geographic Information Science. In addition, I have used my GIS skills in my Bobcat Build organization; which volunteers across the San Marcos community year round. Over all, I expect to continue to travel the world with my knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and my personal projection; "How GIS can change the world around me?"

Sam Ortega:
BA from Texas State. Graduated in May 2011 with a Major in Political Science and a Minor in Sociology. Working on a GIS Certificate, finishing in May.
I enjoy GIS because of the opportunities it provides. The ability to work and solve problems visually, and in a spatial manner, makes GIS a very fun and useful skill. It's also used in a variety of different industries which allows for more creativity in working with the GIS software.
