About our Team

Our Team was formed near the beginning of the Fall 2012 semester by Dr. Lu and we took a lot of time determining our teams Name. In the end we decided on The G.A.M.E.S. because of how well it fit with what we were going to be doing for this project, which happens to be a Geospatial Asset Management Engineering Solution for the City of New Braunfels. We are all students currently enrolled at Texas State University and taking Dr. Lu's 4427 GIS Design and Implementation's course. Our logo features a small assortment of typical geospatial assets that could be found in a park setting and these happen to be surrounding the German Pioneer Monument that can be found in Landa Park.

I am a senior here at Texas State University obtaining my Bachelors of Science in GIS with a minor in Business Administration. I plan to graduate at the end of this semester in December 2012. I plan to take my business and GIS skills into the oil and gas field for a few years of experience and then come back to the greatest geography department in the country for my masters. On the side, I am enjoying watching my Houston sports teams and playing golf. My dream job would be utilizing my GIS skills in locating and designing golf courses.
