Who We Are

We are students of Texas State University working in conjuction with the Guadalupe-Blanco River Trust (GBRT). Through teamwork and help from others as the trust, we were able to succeed in helping with the ultamate goal of preserving the whooping crane.

Our Project

We are tasked with helping the GBRT with three tasks crucial to not only protecting the whooping crane, but all GBRT's Central Texas extent. These tasks include: Creating a base GIS for GBRT, putting mapped easements in digital form, and finding suitable habitat locations for the endangered whooping crane.
