This project will contain both primary and secondary data.

Primary Data: Project Objective

Existing wireless network located in the city of San Marcos, Texas. To collect this data we will use a GPS unit hooked up to a laptop.

Secondary data:

• ArcGIS 9.1
• Netstumbler from ((http://www.netstumbler.com/). The software will detect all wireless networks that our wireless internet/antenna can read while driving throughout San Marcos, Tx.
• Census Data (2000), Mastering ArcGIS second edition CD
