The study will analyze the proposed city infrastructure with the purpose of locating
appropriate sites for each new station, excluding the relocation of the Central Fire
Station for which an exact location has already been determined by the city.
The goals and objectives of this project are to analyze the locations of the
existing fire stations so as to assess the accessibility and response time of
fire station services for the
City of San Marcos
This project will examine the sites for zoning regulations, fire community
planning, existing infrastructure and utilities, proposed roadway extensions,
and ecosystem concerns. Flood zones and railroad crossings within the city
will also be considered in the analysis.
