Ramsey Saad, age 25, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He moved to Houston, Texas at the age of 5 and lived there through high school graduation. Ramsey has traveled to places in England, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Poland, Germany, Holland, Mexico, and Alberta. Ramsey’s next destination goal is New Zealand and Australia. His experience in traveling sparked an interest in geography. Since pursuing an education in geography at Texas State University, he has developed a particular intrigue in mapmaking and representation and analysis of spatial relations.

Ramsey has a wife of two years and a seven month old daughter. Ramsey has worked his entire way through college as a bartender and is currently working at Fish Daddys Grill in north Austin. During his final semester of college, he plans on obtaining a GIS internship. Upon graduation, Ramsey plans to work in the field of geology as a GIS analyst. Ramsey’s other interests include sports such as soccer, tennis, mountain-biking, and kayaking.
