Laura is twenty-two years old and was born in New Braunfels. She studies geographic information science at Texas State University and is interested in geology. Upon graduation she hopes to move to California to find a job in GIS.

Kevin Schilly

Kevin is in his final semester of his Master's program at Texas State University. His research interests include oil and gas, remote sensing, and digital terrain modeling. His directed research project is focused around structure from motion as a terrain modeling alternative.

Saeideh Gharehchahi

Major: Geography

Saeideh is from Tehran and is in her second year as a PhD student at Texas State University. Her research interests include environmental planning, geomorphology, and multi-hazard management.

Matthew Washburn

Program: Master of Science

Major: Geography

Matthew is in the final semester of his Master's program at Texas State University. His thesis investigates the influence of tree canopy structure on Digital Terrain Models generated using computer vision. His research interests include geomorphometry, cartography, remote sensing, and GIS programming.
